Uruguay’s strategic location makes it the best gateway to the region as a result of the conditions that the Mercosur agreement set out for trade and business between the block’s four member nations.

Uruguay is the geographic centre for a market of over 215 million inhabitants with the highest per capita income in the continent and a GNP of around 600 billion dollars. Ours is a reliable, competitive country with good connections for storing and shipping merchandise to the richest region in the continent.
